“sew be it” is my line of t-shirts inspired by different friends. The name reflects how the product is made by hand-stitching
them with vintage fabrics. I also wanted the name to have a little attitude and be inspiring. “sew be it”: so go be that person
that you want to be. The logo is clean and continuous to reflect the stitch and the bound you have with friends. The color
pallet is bright and at the top right corner each card has a saying; “be you”, “be inspired”, “be passionate” and “be stylish”.

I start my creative process by hand drawing each girl then bring them into illustrator. In illustrator I’m cleaning up the art
to get ready for the silk screen processes.

The t-shirt packaging reflects the concept of the illustrations by housing them in little black hat boxes. All illustration
are original. Each shirt is handmade and completely unique. This is of great value to the consumer knowing that she
is getting something that’s one of a kind.

The tags have each girl’s signature along with personalized care instructions. The tags reflect the girl’s different personality
such as demanda’s tag reads. “Pretty…Perfect. That’s demanda she’ll shop ‘til she drops. But I wouldn’t go droppin’ this
one in the dryer. Demand demands a gentle hand wash in cool water with soap. Hang to dry and she’ll stay pretty and
perfect longer.” This expresses the girls personality as well as giving the care instructions in an unusual way.
